What’s the length of each driving lesson? 

At Hi-Way Driving School, lessons can last anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes. Consult with our friendly team to determine the ideal lesson length for you. 

How much are the driving lessons priced at? 

Pricing at our school starts at $55 for a 45-minute session and goes up to $110 for 90 minutes. We provide a variety of attractive packages for ongoing driver training. 

Are the vehicles for the lessons available in both automatic and manual? 

With both automatic and manual vehicles available, Hi-Way Driving School’s instructors can tailor lessons to your preferred type of vehicle. 

How many lessons will I need for driving? 

The number of driving lessons you need will depend on your individual situation. Factors such as your previous experience behind the wheel, your level of confidence and comfort with driving, and any additional skills or techniques you’d like to learn can all affect how many lessons are necessary. Our friendly team can discuss your needs and help tailor a package to suit. 

What’s the required number of driving hours for obtaining a license in Victoria? 

Acquiring a license in Victoria requires a minimum of 120 supervised driving hours, with no fewer than 20 hours of night driving. All this must be documented in the approved logbook before seeking a probationary license. The team at Hi-Way Driving School is here to aid with the logbook entries and practical driving lessons. 

What happens next once I pass my driving test? 

Once you successfully complete your driving test, you will be issued a probationary license by VicRoads. While on your probationary license, there are some restrictions such as carrying passengers, driving in certain areas and for certain purposes, night time driving and more.
