With both automatic and manual vehicles available, Hi-Way Driving School’s instructors can tailor lessons to your preferred type of vehicle. 

How many lessons will I need for driving? 

The number of driving lessons you need will depend on your individual situation. Factors such as your previous experience behind the wheel, your level of confidence and comfort with driving, and any additional skills or techniques you’d like to learn can all affect how many lessons are necessary. Our friendly team can discuss your needs and help tailor a package to suit. 

What is the necessary amount of driving experience to get a license in Victoria? 

A minimum of 120 hours of supervised driving, including at least 20 hours during the night, is necessary for a license in Victoria. These hours must be recorded in the authorised logbook prior to applying for a probationary license. The Hi-Way Driving School team offers assistance with both logbook management and practical lessons to fulfil these criteria. 

What occurs once I successfully complete my driving test? 

Successfully completing your driving test will lead to a probationary license from VicRoads. While under this license, you must adhere to various restrictions such as passenger carriage, specific area and purpose driving, night driving, etc. For complete information about these restrictions and the length of your probationary license, please refer to the VicRoads website.
