What is the duration of each lesson?

How much do driving lessons cost? 

Pricing at our school starts at $55 for a 45-minute session and goes up to $110 for 90 minutes. We provide a variety of attractive packages for ongoing driver training. 

Are the vehicles for the lessons available in both automatic and manual? 

Hi-Way Driving School provides driving lessons in both automatic and manual vehicles, catering to your preferences with instructors skilled in both. 

How many driving lessons do I require? 

The number of driving lessons you need will depend on your individual situation. Factors such as your previous experience behind the wheel, your level of confidence and comfort with driving, and any additional skills or techniques you’d like to learn can all affect how many lessons are necessary. Our friendly team can discuss your needs and help tailor a package to suit. 

What is the necessary amount of driving experience to get a license in Victoria? 

A minimum of 120 hours of supervised driving, including at least 20 hours during the night, is necessary for a license in Victoria. These hours must be recorded in the authorised logbook prior to applying for a probationary license. The Hi-Way Driving School team offers assistance with both logbook management and practical lessons to fulfil these criteria. 

What occurs once I successfully complete my driving test? 

Upon passing your driving test, VicRoads will grant you a probationary license. This comes with certain restrictions like passenger limits, area and purpose restrictions, night driving, and others.
