What’s the price for driving lessons? 

Our prices range from $55 for a 45 minute lesson to $110 for 90 minutes. We also offer a range of competitive packages for drivers looking for ongoing lessons. 

Are the cars provided for lessons automatic or manual? 

Whether you prefer automatic or manual vehicles, Hi-Way Driving School has the options and experienced instructors to accommodate your driving lesson needs. 

How many lessons will I need for driving? 

The number of driving lessons you need will depend on your individual situation. Factors such as your previous experience behind the wheel, your level of confidence and comfort with driving, and any additional skills or techniques you’d like to learn can all affect how many lessons are necessary. Our friendly team can discuss your needs and help tailor a package to suit. 

How many driving hours are needed for a license in Victoria? 

In order to get your license in Victoria, you will need to accumulate a minimum of 120 hours of supervised driving experience. This must include at least 20 hours of night driving. All of these hours must be recorded in the approved logbook before you can apply for your probationary license. The Hi-Way Driving School team can assist with both the logbook and practical driving lessons to help you meet these requirements. 

What occurs once I successfully complete my driving test? 

After successfully completing your driving test, you’ll receive a probationary license from VicRoads, which entails certain limitations, including carrying passengers, driving in designated areas, and night driving, among others.
