How much time does each lesson take? 

Lessons at Hi-Way Driving School range from 45 to 90 minutes in length. Talk to our friendly team to find the best fit for your requirements. 

What’s the price for driving lessons? 

Pricing at our school starts at $55 for a 45-minute session and goes up to $110 for 90 minutes. We provide a variety of attractive packages for ongoing driver training. 

Do the cars used for lessons come in automatic or manual? 

Whether you prefer automatic or manual vehicles, Hi-Way Driving School has the options and experienced instructors to accommodate your driving lesson needs. 

How many lessons will I need for driving? 

Your unique situation will determine how many driving lessons you require, considering factors like past experience, confidence level, and any specific skills or techniques you want to master. Our approachable team will work with you to create a package that fits your needs. 

What’s the required number of driving hours for obtaining a license in Victoria? 

To obtain a license in Victoria, you must complete at least 120 hours of supervised driving, including a minimum of 20 hours at night. All hours must be logged in the official logbook before applying for a probationary license. Hi-Way Driving School can help with logging and practical lessons to meet these requirements. 

What’s next after passing my driving test? 

Once you successfully complete your driving test, you will be issued a probationary license by VicRoads. While on your probationary license, there are some restrictions such as carrying passengers, driving in certain areas and for certain purposes, night time driving and more. For further information about these restrictions and how long your probationary license is valid for, please visit the VicRoads website.
