What is the cost of driving lessons? 

With a range of $55 for a 45-minute lesson to $110 for 90 minutes, we offer attractive rates and competitive packages for drivers in need of regular lessons. 

Are the cars provided for lessons automatic or manual? 

With both automatic and manual vehicles available, Hi-Way Driving School’s instructors can tailor lessons to your preferred type of vehicle. 

How many driving lessons do I need? 

How many driving lessons you need will hinge on aspects like your previous driving experience, comfort level, and any particular skills you wish to learn. Hi-Way Driving School’s friendly staff is here to discuss your requirements and tailor a suitable package. 

What is the necessary amount of driving experience to get a license in Victoria? 

Acquiring a license in Victoria requires a minimum of 120 supervised driving hours, with no fewer than 20 hours of night driving. All this must be documented in the approved logbook before seeking a probationary license. The team at Hi-Way Driving School is here to aid with the logbook entries and practical driving lessons. 

What’s next after passing my driving test? 

Successfully completing your driving test will lead to a probationary license from VicRoads. While under this license, you must adhere to various restrictions such as passenger carriage, specific area and purpose driving, night driving, etc. For complete information about these restrictions and the length of your probationary license, please refer to the VicRoads website. 

After earning your license, Hi-Way Driving School continues to assist with road safety through tailored guidance. Our instructors are available for more lessons and advice on safe driving, fostering your confidence and security while driving.
